Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using ECG:Connect services provided by OFFIN Healthcare Limited, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access our services.

1. Definitions

• "Service" — the ECG:Connect gateway software, cloud platform, and all associated APIs
• "User" — any individual or institution accessing the Service
• "Content" — all data, files, and materials processed through the Service
• "Patient Data" — medical information, ECG recordings, and health measurements
• "Gateway" — the on-premise Docker container installed at your facility

2. Account Terms

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and license key. OFFIN Healthcare cannot be liable for loss or damage from your failure to comply with this security obligation. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

You may not use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose, or in violation of any laws in your jurisdiction.

3. Medical Data & HIPAA Compliance

ECG:Connect is designed with HIPAA compliance in mind. Your institution acts as the data controller for all patient health information processed through the Service. OFFIN Healthcare acts as a data processor.

You represent and warrant that you have all necessary rights, consents, and authorisations to upload and process Patient Data through our Service.

4. License & Plan Terms

Your use of the Service is governed by your active subscription plan. Each gateway installation requires a valid license key. OFFIN Healthcare reserves the right to suspend or terminate access if:

• Your subscription lapses or payment is overdue
• Usage exceeds plan limits without upgrade
• The license key is used on unauthorised installations

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
• Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation
• Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or malicious code
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or data
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service

6. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by OFFIN Healthcare Limited and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of all Patient Data you process through the Service.

7. Limitation of Liability

ECG:Connect is a data management and transmission tool and does not provide medical diagnoses or clinical recommendations. OFFIN Healthcare is not liable for clinical decisions made based on data processed through the Service. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to fees paid in the preceding 12 months.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via the dashboard or email. By continuing to use the Service after changes become effective, you agree to the revised terms.
