One platform for every connected device — with data that never leaves the hospital.
X:Connect brings ECG, bedside-monitor, imaging and lab data into your HMIS from on-premise gateways. The Control Panel handles licensing, fleet monitoring, and AI model updates — no patient data in the cloud.
Built for Hospitals That Can't Afford Downtime or Data Loss
X:Connect is a family of local-first device gateways — ECG, bedside monitors, imaging and lab — that keep clinical data in your hospital and work offline, rolling up to one cloud control plane for fleet management, licensing and AI.
Local-First Edge Gateways
On-premise Docker gateways — ECG:Connect, BM:Connect, RAD:Connect, LAB:Connect — installed at your hospital. All clinical data is processed and stored locally, no internet required, and syncs to the cloud control plane automatically when connectivity returns.
Multi-Modality Device Capture
ECG carts, bedside monitors and imaging/lab systems via their vendor middleware — GE, Mindray, Philips and more — auto-detected and parsed from XML, PDF, DICOM and HL7, without manual configuration.
HL7 & FHIR Integration
Send clinical results directly to your hospital HMIS or EMR via HL7 v2 ORU messages over MLLP. Standards-based FHIR R4 — served on-premise by the gateway/hub — enables interoperability with national health information systems.
Built-in Clinical Viewers
Per-modality review in the browser: an interactive 12-lead ECG viewer (speed/gain, strip mode, calibration, PNG export), bedside-monitor vitals trends and waveforms, and imaging review — no extra software.
AI Model Distribution
The control plane distributes versioned AI models to the fleet. Rule-based clinical flagging runs on every gateway (ECG intervals/axis, vital-sign thresholds); Enterprise unlocks LLM-based interpretation via Claude.
Fleet, Licensing & Security
Per-gateway licensing, AES-256 at rest, TLS in transit, role-based access control, audit logging and plan-enforced retention — managed centrally from the Control Panel. No patient data ever leaves the hospital.
From ECG Device to Clinical Decision — in One Workflow
The gateway sits inside your hospital network. Devices export files automatically. Clinicians get results on screen within seconds — and your HMIS receives the data via HL7. No cloud dependency required for day-to-day operation.
Connect your ECG devices
Configure GE, Mindray, Philips, or CardioSoft devices to export files to the gateway’s drop folder via FTP, network share, or USB. No middleware required — the gateway watches the folder continuously.
Automatic parsing & patient matching
Files are parsed in real-time — XML, PDF, and DICOM all handled. Patient records are matched by MRN automatically. New patients are created if no match is found. Duplicate files are detected by SHA-256 hash and skipped.
Clinicians review on the local dashboard
Doctors and technicians access the web dashboard from any browser on the hospital LAN. View the 12-lead waveform, measurements with clinical colour-coding (normal / low / high), and AI interpretation — no login to an external system needed.
Results sent to your HMIS via HL7
The gateway sends HL7 v2 ORU messages directly to your hospital information system — Epic, Cerner, DHIMS2, OpenMRS, or any MLLP-compatible endpoint. No manual data entry, no double documentation.
Centrally managed from the cloud Control Panel
The X:Connect Control Panel licenses each gateway, monitors the fleet, distributes AI model updates, and handles billing — over the internet when available. No patient data is ever sent to the cloud; records stay on the gateway.
